Easy Run

Waited till late to avoid the heat. Fast walked & did drills prior. Legs felt sore during drills. Started out in parking lot at HarrisY & then ran up Sharon (meandering at some point) to Morrison down to Harris Teeter thru parking lot to Colony (abt 2.5 mi - did not feel any hamstring pain, felt much stronger biomechanically, felt like I was tolerating the heat better yet legs weaker vs. yesterday - & they were as my pace was significantly slower). Hung a left, looped back down Sharon meandering at several points to add mileage (ran up & around Whole Foods, ran into church, ran down Rutherford & back on Sulkirk) to the Y (5.3 mi - somewhere past mile 4 began to feel the heat, at around mil 5 began to lose rhythm & felt nauseous fr the heat , but no deep aching pain in hamstring like yesterday that I would feel in my core and want to stop). Got to Y & rather than stopping focused on quickening my cadence & hit my goal of running to 5.8 mi. Miles 4 & 5 did feel slow, at 5 mi I was completely soaked in sweat and could hear my shoes squeaking - at end it was like I had jumped in a lake.
