Easy Run

30 degrees, cold. North White Plains down Bronx River Trail to White Plains train station and then out to Greenburgh shopping area along Central Ave and then back. Feeling terrible prior which is what I believe to be another Sinus Infection (prior to run felt tired, coughing, sneezing, mucous coming out). Started run and legs felt great (felt slight pain in right Psoas/lower abdomen), more concerned about my throat since last March when I had initial Sinus Infection that hurt like razors 3 miles in. The extra cushion in these Asics Nimbus was noticeable throughout (felt like I had "spring" in my step). Given how I felt prior, amazed that I ran the same course as yesterday at the same perceived effort but seven minutes faster! Looked at split at mile 5 (saw 7:58 for mile 4 and then 7:48 for mile 5) and then slowed it down. Unfortunately, about 1.5 later on I started to feel chills which is not good, and decided to cut this run shorter by stopping and taking a shortcut thru the North White Plains train station. After that, even though legs felt good still felt chilled. After run started to feel much worse -- have appetite but started feeling chills all thru body (core), coughing, achy, sneezing -- this feels like the flu but its not, coughing, etc. Have nothing here to fight this -- had to go out to buy a Neti Pot and hopefully that halted this from getting really bad and having to visit ER (unfortunately feel really really tired -- found only "day" decongestants so have to rely on Tylenol right now).
