Michigan Set - Odds - 1/2 mi at Tempo pace, Evens 1/2 mi at VO2Max

Actual: (1/2 miles - #1 = 7:54, #3 = 7:37, #5 = 7:39, #2 = 7:37, #4 = 7:24) = 7:39 pace.

Have not run a set in ~ 1 mo. Ran these in the North White Plains train station (4 cars parked amongst 2,000 spaces so lots of room)! so lot so no expectations or idea of how this would go. It was either really difficult to gauge pace or as I went along I became more efficient. I ran at the pace I wanted to on #1 (started at top of lower lot ran down then up). On #2 I thought I ran this much faster as I was targeting in the 7:20s & didn't (ran out to Parkway on Fisher & back & then diagonals up lower lot). On #3 repeated course I ran for #1 & held back a bit but this felt efficient (yet faster vs #2 but did not feel it & did not push the pace). On #4 ran the same course as #2 but leveled out so ended up at the bottom - this I ran faster & pace was where I wanted it. #5 ran the same course as #5 & purposely controlled pace & achieved what I wanted.
