VO2Max (5k) Set - 5 x 1000m (~2:30/40 rest in between)
Ran this set descending and according to AHR/MHR had more left in the tank. Felt strong and got stronger on each except first one where I felt "gassed" at around the 1/2 mile mark. Legs felt a little extra tight tonight (hamstrings) probably from the strides last nite (on #3, 4 and 5 I felt it more in the legs vs. cardiovascular system).
Running at 6:35 and 6:31 pace seemed "comfortable" (whereas at 6:27 pace or below I could sense the extra level of effort required).
