(un)Very Easy Run

The tropical conditions are ratcheting back up as 74 dew pt was unbearable & oppressive (was sweating profusely only 3 mi in despite a very easy effort & began to feel "hot" over last 1/2 mi). Debated running today because I could feel pangs of pain in left foot - decided to go for it, ruled out Newtons, put on the relatively flatter Triumphs & upper medial bottom of foot hurt just wearing these. Changed to the extremely cushioned Gel Nimbus & this made a different in terms of comfort. Ran fr Whole Foods left on Fairview left on Sharon right on Rutherford (mi 1 - adjusted pace to go slower given how hot it was, got into rhythm immediately w/short strides & high cadence), continued on Rutherford right on Sulkirk right on Park So & hung right on Stokes (mi 2 - could begin to feel the sweat pour & continued in rhythm, no left foot discomfort, this was downhill yet pace lagged?), right up Long Meadow left on Stokes right on Sulstone left on Sulkirk to end left on Sharon up & then to front of Church (mi 3 - all uphill & yet pace was faster vs mi 2, really sweating & I could feel how hot it was); ran into Church looping one in lower lot & then looped around upper lot running down & looping around lower lot & out near entrance right on Sharon to Ashley (mi 4 - actually felt better & stronger in mi 3 yet pace in mi 4 was much faster? focused on shortening stride & higher cadence); ran down to Harper's & looped back left on Ashley back to Whole Foods (4.5 mi - really began to feel overheating at this point).
