6 x Strides on Scarsdale HS football field (artificial turf)

First attempt at strides/speed in 10 weeks and post-injury. Very concerned about how I feel during but more so post as speed works put maximal stress on femur & quads. Ran 80 yards on these (fr goal line to the other 20 yd line). The first one was a struggle as it felt like I was dragging someone behind me. Felt worse on the second one (as if I was completely "flat"). At this point I thought about taking longer on the recovery. #3 felt a little better. And then it "clicked", on #4 thru #6 I felt much stronger, I could now turnover my legs (as if the first three busted the rust) and felt much better. These were all "even" efforts. It was amazing how things clicked in after the first three. Will see how things feel tomorrow. Accurate splits below:
