Easy Run [7:47 pace p mi adj for heat]

80 deg / 74% H [71 DP]. CLT Runners Tue nite run (Booty Loop). Got there 10 min late & unfortunately did not run up on the back of the group. Felt decent vs. prior Tue runs and felt stronger up the hills. At less than a mile in felt really good (but it was extremely humid w/dew pt >70), had good rhythm thru 2.5 miles but the heat started to overwhelm me. Was really careful about pace & after I hit mile 3 focus was to make to 5 miles for a brief stop. Ran up the hill on Queens and I started to really feel the heat and really feel myself overheating. Coming down Queens, started to feel worse where when I got to the bottom started to feel sick to my stomach (fr heat) and hand to stop. There was no breeze and tried to vent heat but really difficult (I was at abt 4 mi and completely soaked in sweat) After about 3 min started up and felt "wrecked" -- could only make it 0.8 mi which was past the hospital (felt like running into the ER!) and had to stop. Started up again and this time made it about 600m where I got back on the greenway and then looped around to Morehead and Queens and had to stop (I could feel this into my core, felt like I was curl up in a fetal position). Walked down Morehead to get some water, and started to feel dizzy after & back hurt. Started up again and right foot really hurt to start (and settled down) -- but I felt like this was a Burma death march, and really felt this into my core -- so any hill felt like death. Had to stop twice over the last mile. Realized that at 4 miles I had heat exhaustion -- same symptoms (felt weak, felt it into my core, felt like I could not continue, could draw "nothing" out of me, the dizzy feeling) as last time (although then in was 95 deg! but today dew pt was insane).
