Long Run

Goal was to run a hilly route, run aggressively up key hills through the first 8 miles (up Colony next to Myers Pk HS at end of mile 2, up Roswell off of Colony in mile 3, and up Queens on the Booty Loop end of mile 6 & beg of mile 7), maintain pace in the flats, and then run hard the last two miles up Providence to Sharon (wanted to have the early hills "take some of the sting out" of my legs" and run hard uphill on tired legs). Did not want to run too hard given the effort fr yesterday. Felt good up the three hills through mile 7 and pace was consistent as evidenced by miles 3 thru 7, started to push things a little in mile 8, held back as I ran down Providence till the uphill section by the little park, and then focused on increasing cadence, picking up knees and gliding up the hill. Felt strong up the hill to the top.
