Cruise (10k) Interval
3 x 2k (no idea how I would do as I have not run this type of set for over a year or more + have not run any set >2.5 miles in a long time)
Ran this in/around Phillips Pl. On #1 & #2 started in front of PF Changs & looped around RH back into cinema lot & 4 loops & down past cinema. On #3 changed it up running fr behind Palm around PF Changs into cinema lot for 5 loops. Since I have not run this set in well over a year, the goal was more about running a strong form, running consistently & finishing strong. #1 felt sluggish as always & felt better than expected but still slow. On #2 I was still running inside myself & purposely ran faster over the final 1/4 mi (at the end of this realized that the longest set I have run in over a year has been 2.5 miles in total & I was at 2.5 miles after #2). My concern on #3 was to maintain consistency which I did & to finish strong. Accurate splits below:
