Very Easy Run
Double (2nd run) today after faster 5 mi run & hill sprints. Legs felt really tired & really sore. Ran this on the dirt trail at HarrisY (3.25 mi of the 3.95 mi). What I started out I felt literally "dead" & it felt like every step was an effort. Focused exclusively on maintaining a quick cadence despite the slow effort. When I got onto the dirt trail the "bounce" of the Newtons I was wearing went quickly away as I could feel I was only wearing "heavier shoes" - and this was magnified on any portion of the trail where the surface was soft. At least I jogged this "progressively" (vs dying since at points I could feel myself struggling given the double).
