Easy Run

Was extremely sore fr 1st workout in 3 mos on Wed, everything felt like a struggle, no spring, felt like I was running in the sand. Felt really "rubbery legged" after 2.5 mi & weak. Hot but not as bad as last week & my pace heat adjusted was about where I felt it should be.

Started fr Allen Tate down Fairview left on Sharon right on Sulkirk (mi 1 - I could feel 200m in that this did not feel easy & felt "plodding", did as much as I could to maintain rhythm & quick cadence), down Sulkirk right on Sulstone left on Stokes right on Long Meadow left on Stokes left on Park So right on Archdale into Church on the left (mi 2 - got into a better rhythm, shortened stride & this felt the best mile of this run), looped 3x around Church then out/right up Archdate fight on Park So to Sulkirk (mi 3 - can't believe how I "died" here, as I looped the Church I felt weak & slow footed, started to sweat more but my legs were hurting much more), ran down Sulkirk left up Sharon up hill down to Sharon View (mi 4 - this was rolling & felt like I was plodding up any incline, felt really weak). Stopped to stretch & vent heat. Resumed & felt equally weak over the final 8/10 of a mi - down Sharon crossed Fairview then looped back & up to Ashley.
