Fast Walk

Fast Walk

Extremely windy (30 mph gusts at time in face mile 1 and mile 3). Started out walking fast and felt better than yesterday. After first mile transitioned into fast walk/jog where I was able to jog 4-8 steps (and then fast walk 16-20 steps). But at mile 2 had to abort any jogging as it began to hurt (I could feel it when I fast walked). So after about 3/4 mile than transitioned back into combo fast walk/jog but I literally could only do 3 steps of jog. This feels like two weeks ago where I was at the same level. The pain in my leg was all below my trunk (nothing inside of hip) and I had to be real careful. Immediately after I ran, had some real pain on upper right leg on lateral side below hip which was probably from my lower back QL muscle (sure enough I rolled this w/tennis ball and lacrosse ball after, and I could literally feel "scrunching" in the area (and about 5-10 min later that pain in my leg started to subside). Fortunately, several hours later and everything feels really good.
