Easy Run

Fast walked 1.2mi prior at 13 min pace (left calf was tight in the beginning but subsided). Then did drills. Started fr HarrisY & decided to run more on the dirt trail to see how my left calf would feel. Ran loops of asphalt parking lot focusing on firing my Adductors (mi 1 - left calf hurt to start, then subsided a little, felt better running vs yesterday despite the heavier shoes), almost immediately after 1 mi could start to feel pain & tightness in left calf similar to what I felt 2 weeks ago when the injury occurred so made a beeline to the dirt trail (300m later) where I felt less stress in the calf - did a loop & then a section on the grass (mi 2 - I figure my pace is 15-20 slower on the soft surface), felt good (yesterday I felt like I had no aerobic capacity to go beyond 1.75mi straight) & continued on trail & grass (mi 3) & stopped (almost doubled what I did yesterday). Gauged left calf (walked around, stretched), then resumed for another mile on the trail (mi 4 - amazing how the splits are so consistent) focusing in on firing my Adductors & then ran into the parking lot for the final 1/4 mi (and amazing how much faster I am on a solid surface).

Left calf was much tighter & painful vs yesterday post-run where I could feel it inhibit loading on my left foot & could not 100% roll it (too painful)
