5k Blend Interval
Goal: 4 x (3/4mi at 5k pace (6:39/mi), rest 2 min, 300m -20 sec/mi faster, rest 4 min)
Actual (4 x (3/4mi at 5k pace (6:39/mi), rest 2 min, 300m (6:19/mi), rest 4 min)
Overall: 6:35/mi pace
Felt so much better in this set vs. last Monday (struggled thru 5x1k at 5k pace/6:43 p mi) and can see/feel the fitness gains (esp since this is a much tougher set). Switched fr Blade Light to Newton Gravity halfway through. Felt some light groin pain on #4 but this went away (did not feel it on the 300m sets). At my level of fitness 6:39 pace feels like 5k pace (last week it felt like 6:44 pace) so hopefully this continues to decrease.
