Easy Run

Was adjusted earlier in the day (no alignment issues), no tightness in right psoas, psoas & glutes were firing, right hamstring was firing (it wasn't last wk which is positive), but right quad was not firing (serious weakness causing hamstring to work overtime). Worked on getting quad to fire. Fast walked & did drills prior (no discomfort in hamstring). Started out fr Whole Foods & went left on Sharon & right on Rutherford (mi 1 - felt strong but some underlying fatigue probably fr back-to-back, did not feel "fresh"), hung left on Sulkirk then left on Sharon & then looped in church (mi 2 - no real discomfort, focused on form & getting all muscles to fire), ran down Sharon & right on Fairview & looped around Whole Foods back out on Sharon (mi 3 - felt strong up the inclines), ran into mall parking lot & did loops & back out on Sharon (mi 4 - just like last week, actually tried to control pace by shortening stride which resulted in a quicker pace), ran down Sharon into Earth Fare & ran loops (mi 5), & another loop & then back out on Sharon to the BOA (mi 6 - began to feel more discomfort in hamstring [a dull ache] & it felt less "springy"). Stopped to use ATM, then did hamstring stretches, running butt kicks (no real discomfort) & high knees (no meaningful discomfort which is a good sign). Resumed & felt stronger going down Sharon, cutting into mall parking lot & then back out on Fairview & up to Whole Foods.
