VO2Max Set

Goal: 3 x 1/2 mi + 1 x 300m

Actual: 3 x 1/2 mi (8:34 pace; 8:22 pace; 8:17 pace) + 2 x 300m (7:24 pace; 7:05 pace)

Had no idea how I would perform as first workout in 2+ months after left illiopsoas injury & still recovering. I actually thought I would do worse given how slow all of my prior runs were. On #1 felt like I had a governor on me holding me back (and thought when I read the watch it said 8:4x pace). Focused on pushing the pace more on #2 and #3 and to progress the pace which I did. Then decided to run 2 x 300m (one figure 8 loop of cinema lot) especially after how slow I ran the first one & how horrible I felt on the 2nd lap and able to at least run one respectable repeat.
