Easy Run

Fast walked & did drills b4hand. Noticing that right leg feels much better during the fast walk (no pain now). Still doing "walking butt kicks" pre-run drill but noticing that my "paw back" is feeling much stronger (healing). Started out and had no lateral quad pain, no hamstring pain, very low level trigger pt pain (2/10) along medial quad. Ran out of Whole Foods to Sharon and into mall parking lot (mile 1 & this felt like 8:30/40 pace but it wasn't), then down Fairview looping around Zoe's (mile 2 - this was mostly downhill & no clue why pace really slowed - no leg pain), then over to Piedmont and a lap clockwise around Carnegie (mile 3 - felt better, was able to engage hips, maintain good rhythm), then a counter-clockwise lap and out to Barclay Downs to the mall entrance (mile 4 - this felt the same as the prior miles?), The next miles was all uphill from the mall, then a right back to Piedmont, then up and left on Fairview up past McDonalds (mile 5), then to Whole Foods to retrieve water bottle. Decided to do more drills (running butt kicks, high knees, hamstring stretches - butt kicks felt much more powerful). Then completed last 1/2 mi down to Phillips Pl (butt & hips felt very strong after doing these drills over final 1/2 mi).
