43 degrees - started off as a drizzle & then rain over last 1/2
Fast Interval - 6 x [2/10ths of mi, 1:15 min jog, 1/10th of a mi)
Goal: 7:15/20 on the 2/10th, 6:30 for the 1/10th.
Actual: 7:01 on the 2/10th, 6:01 on the 1/10th = 6:41 aggregate. Ran this much faster than expected but ran these under control.
Ran these in the No White Plains train station lower lot. On the 2/10th segments I felt stress & focused on controlling the pace & not running these to where I could possibly tie up or get slower. Ran the first four of these at the same perceived effort & got progressively faster. On the final two I tried to run a bit faster but finish stronger. On the 1/10th segments I felt super strong & actually trying not to run these two fast so focused on staying under control (except for the last one). Accurate splits below:
