Lifted b4 & then fast walked & did drills. Waited till later to avoid rain. Felt humid out but rain cooled. Pace today didn't feel any different from Mon or Sun or last week but this was 20 sec/mi faster and hillier (w/a ton of turns). Focused on trying to maintain a more stable form (plant underneath and use my paw back more as I realize this is where I am weak & maybe why I'm stagnating although when in NY one person told me I may never get back to where I was last Sep?). At about 3 miles I could feel how oppressive it was and within a 1/2 mile I was completely soaked in sweat. At mile 4 I began to feel myself overheating so I would try and run into the breeze as often as possible to cool down. A little past 5 miles started to feel sick to my stomach which is the cue that I'm approaching red line for overheating so stopped to vent heat. Resumed and again worked on form and paw back. Felt stronger the last 1/2 mi on Mon vs. today yet today I ran the last 1/2 mi at a pace of almost 40 sec p/mi faster??
