Long Run (Very Slow)

83 deg / 60% H [68 DP]. Felt very hot and very uncomfortable outside and ran this super slow. Did the first 1.5 miles w/out any drills and felt terrible. Did 2x drills and then felt 100% better bio-mechanically (everything felt easier and hips were in a strong position) & continued to run conservatively slow given the conditions. Ran out fr Earth Fare out to Elm and then over to Rea and was going to run the Bulldog Run course backwards but miscalculated again & found myself where I was last week. Controlled and slowed the pace throughout concentrating on good form. At 7 to 8 miles in I was really thirsty and sweating a ton (there was no breeze and this was the worst conditions I've run a long run this year). Stopped once close to 10 miles because I felt like I was going to overheat (and really really thirsty at this point). Ran to my vehicle to rehydrate and then finished this out. Covered in sweat.
