Easy Run [7:48 pace p mi adj for heat]

82 deg / 62% H [68 DP]. 2x drills prior. Ran in the flatter Triumph's and I could feel the difference. When I started felt "bio-mechanically" strong - hips strong, butt strong and legs felt like they were "spinning" w/little effort. Also very little foot pain ( a 1 or 2 which I noticed). Ran out to Beverly Woods Elementary fr Harris Y, 4 laps around the 220yd track and then back out to Sharon and looped around behind the Y and got back on the trail (after ~1.5 mi). Through mile 4 there were people on the trail running so would run loops in the grass to get way behind them and then run up/past to give me mind a break in the boredom of running loops. At end of mile 4 viewed split (8:11), figured at least a 20+ sec heat differential, and at this point tried to purposely slow to about a 8:20+ pace (did not really do that). At 5.5 miles took a brief break to pour water on myself (shorts were soaked, sweating profusely, no breeze, did no think the dew pt was as high as it was but it was bad out). Then for last mile ran back up to Beverly Elementary and back.
