Goal: 3 x 3/4mi + 2 x 1k @in between VO2Max & 10K pace (7:45 pace)
Actual: 4 x 3/4mi + 1k (7:44 / 7:44 / 7:44 / 7:30 / 7:30) = 7:39 pace
Had no idea how I would fare given the state of my right hamstring/HHT injury. Ran the first 3 on the treadmill. Felt more effort than expected on #1 but then settled in. 7:44 pace as optimal (could not go any faster). After #3 had to go outside as Y closed. Ran outside on the road & into the Y parking lot. #4 felt sold and felt strong. #5 I felt somewhat weaker and after the first 1/4 mi felt like there was no way I could finish this "strong" w/out pushing faster than I wanted -- although it was 90% humidity outside & the dew pt was probably 70 and I have to believe this played into it. Did not feel like I put much more stress on right hamstring but it does not feel anywhere near where it felt 2+ weeks ago.
