Easy Run [7:48 pace p mi adj for heat]

84 deg / 63% H [70 DP]. Ran out to Cottswold and back. Lifted beforehand (felt tired). Did 2x drills prior. It was brutally humid and was sweating after the fast walk! No pain to start and had no perception of pace (felt a little faster than yesterday's very easy 8:45 pace). 1/2 mile in and I was moving beads of sweat off my face (difficult to breathe given how hydrated the air is). I tried to focus on maintaining a consistent pace & easing going up any hill given that w/the heat it would really sap my energy. When I got to Sharon Amity and Providence I felt like I was overheating and focused on easing my pace. And upon going up the hill to Randolph along Sharon Amity simply had to stop -- 3.1 miles in and my shorts were soaked, covered in sweat and felt overheated. When I resumed I could feel the difference in terms of me being cooler, tried to slow things down (had not looked at Garmin), and I could feel every incline/hill. Got to Sharon Amity and Providence at about 5 mi and stopped again (at this point I looked like I had jumped in a lake, shorts were dripping wet, shoes were wet, no breeze to cool me down). When I resumed felt "dead", could not muster any speed and this felt like a jog (at least it did not feel like a Burma Death March). About 1/2 mi fr finish I began to feel pain in both feet (my feet were soaked and the tape I had applied merely disengaged which explained why + to a degree the flatter shoes I was wearing).
