Long Run (Ice Bidet)

41 degrees. Windy. Very hilly run (1,110' of gain). A tale of three runs. Over the first 2.5 miles the ice/snow/flooding on the sidewalks kept forcing me to swerve/slow/stop/pause (down Fairview, up Colony, right on Sharon, right on Red Fox, to Sharon Amity to Providence). Then I ran down Providence to Wendover and a decision I made at the start not to go to the bathroom would haunt me in this next segment as I started to feel that urge but thought I could make the 2.5 miles back home. Hung a left on Wendover where the sidewalk was flooded in numerous spots and very quickly had to stop due to gastrointestinal stress, started up and had to stop again, started up and stopped almost immediately as at this point I had no option (in a very nice residential neighborhood with a lot of open space -- thank God it snowed as the snow made a convenient "ice bidet"). This was at 3.5 miles in, and did not feel good after so walked for a while until I started up and the pace really reflects how I felt as after 10-15 minutes I started to feel better, plus I purposely ran on roads which were ice free and then began to get into a much better rhythm finishing strong.
