6 x Hill Sprints + 4 x Skipping up Cameron Valley
The perceived effort felt faster on the 6 x hill sprints (felt like last week) except that I felt "slow" to start on all but #2 and #5 (where on those I felt explosive to start). #1 felt more like overstriding, #2 felt really quick, after #3 I focused on my paw back and using my glutes to power up the hill so #4 thru #6 felt good (and I could feel it in my glutes). Did 6 x 50 yds of toe offs in between the sprints. Then did 1x skipping up the hill using right leg then left leg, then 2x skipping up the hill alternating legs (skip, 5 steps, skip) -- amazing how I could be almost as fast skipping vs. sprinting (on the last two my best pace dipped under 6 min) for all four I started w/a skip which slowed me down relative to the sprints.
