Notes

Fast walk over first 1.75 miles. When I began transitioning into jog I noticed immediately I could jog 10-16 steps and zero pain. My legs still felt "slow" but wow. After mile 2 I then extended to jogging a telephone pole (30 meters) and fast walking 4-5 steps the pain was gone where I could jog about 30 meters (between telephone poles) to where I felt tightness in upper leg (the area of tightness/pain has shrunk each day and today this area was much smaller and did not disperse), and towards the end of mile 3 slowly extended this to about 100m of jog. In mile 4 thedid not try to extend this in mile 3. In mile 4 began extended the jog portion to about 200m and then decided to run that final 1.75 miles continuously. Felt like a sloth, very slow, and was very conservative as I was very afraid of "going fast" and possibly re-injuring again. When I saw the mile 4 split I could not understand how mile 4 (which I ran almost continuously could be slower vs. mile 3 where I was fast walking probably 1/10th of that mile?)? In the last mile at times I would want to run an "abby normal" pace but I could feel the low level pain/dull ache in my Psoas and realized its probably 80% this injury the reason why I'm this slow.
