Michigan Set
Goal: 5 x .55 mi (evens LT Pace which is?, odds VO2Max which is?) + 300m hard (7:10 pace)
Actual: even's: 8:24 pace; odds: 7:55 pace; 300m = 6:54 pace
Under performed by a wide margin running this & continued this arc of regression. On #1 my legs felt so heavy & so stiff & depressed at the result. Purposely ran harder on #2 since this was a VO2Max & I guess I should be thankful I ran under 8 min pace since when I am in this rut I usually cannot. Ran #3 & #5 at what I perceived at LT Pace & at least these were consistent. On #4 I thought I could least run the same or faster vs #2 as I normally progress & get stronger but that was not the case. At least I exceeded my expectation on the 300m segment.
