VO2Max Set

Goal: 3 x [1mi @5k pace (6:37), jog/walk 2 min, 300m @-25 sec5k (6:12 pace), jog/walk 4:00)

Actual: 3 x (1 mi (6:37 pace), 2 min, 300m (6:12 pace)

1st cycle felt smooth. Began to feel some effort on the #2 mile (6:40 pace felt ok, 6:35 felt uncomfortable for whatever reason). #2 300m felt fine. Pushed the 3rd mile. Wanted to dial up the speed on the 3rd 300m (going 1/2 of it at 6 min pace) but about 15 seconds into it started to feel stress in my leg/groin and it wasn't worth it to stress this more. Progressed this set fr two weeks ago where I went 4 x [3/4 mi (6:39), rest 2, 300m (6:19), 4min]. Can definitely feel I have more speed and that showed when one compares the progression over the past 2 weeks. Forced to take an extra minute of rest before mile#3 as watch started to go berserk (buttons did not work due to sweat).
