Long Run [7:44 adj for heat]
69 degrees, 64% humidity. Felt more humid this evening. Legs felt good today especially going up the hills (focused on going up key hills at a good pace). Its also the longest run I've done. This is a purposely hilly course as it started in South Park, swung over to Cottswold (via Sharon Amity), down Randolph, across on Wendover, then down Providence, on Colville, then a 100' climb up Hampstead at the end of mile 6. At the top my legs felt gassed and quads tight. I kept saying to myself that I should get a second wind. After about a mile, started to feel good again and pace dropped. Kept up pace until I hit the steep hills up by Myers Pk HS on Colony and then uphill back to SPark. Got that "jelly" feeling in my legs at 12.25 miles. Leg/groin pain a lot better today when I started (5 on a scale of 1-10, yesterday an 8, this past week a 3).
