Easy Run [7:54 pace p mi adj for heat]

75 deg / 69% H [64 DP]. Was able to wear the Triumph's to run (was not able to on Mon because of pain). Did 2x drills prior w/some low level pain in left foot. Felt humid out, thought we were supposed to get cooler weather but I could feel the high dew pt. When I started felt low level pain in left foot and monitored this throughout run given the shoes I was wearing. There was nobody on the trail (no runners, no walkers, nobody) so that was a real boring run. When I started out it felt like the same pace as yesterday through the first two miles (~8:25 pace) and today this felt very easy and was not pushing anything. Felt occasional pangs of pain more so because the shoes are flatter so tried to focus on using my glutes, landing at my center of gravity and not overstriding (this felt better), pushing off w/my big toe (now this shed some light on things as when I did this I felt more pain in both feet -- so I suspect that all of the work to build up my glutes may have resulted in me being "less" of a severe under pronator which means I'm now using the inside of my foot more (or more than I used to) and this is exactly where (behind my arch on the inside of each foot) where I have this PF. At 3 miles I started to feel hot and at this point it was apparent that it was as humid today as the prior days (it was...no dry air). Felt good thru 5 miles, then in mile 6 began to feel sick to my stomach (classic overheating) and forced to stop at 5.3 miles. When I resumed left foot hurt a lot more, and tried to run this final ~1 mile as much on the grass as possible (but concerned w/the pain) -- also ran this conservative since I did not want to overheat again.

Post-run: left foot feels worse, really close to where I would have to take days off and its the shoes (very very tender but I don't have swelling where it really hurts if I lift foot off the ground -- right foot is more tender than any prior day). Good thing tomorrow is planned day off!
