"Long" Run - HarrisY Area

Goal was to go 8 miles (this qualifies as a long run as I've been maxing out at 6 miles for the past week & a half). At 6.75 miles my Achilles began to hurt in a way it hasn't hurt (above where the pain/tear is) so I cut this short ("live to run another day"). Ran the first 2 miles in a new shoe (Addidas Response Cushion 19) which felt great but it was not wide enough and began pressing on stress fracture site of right foot and did a shoe change (will return these). AHR results show I'm getting back into better shape as a week ago at this same pace I was at/above 150. Legs felt sore -- 67% due to deadlifts and leg work last nite & 33% due to tempo run yesterday. Got a "second wind" around end of mile 4 and was able to lock into a pace (and started seeing HR dip below 140 during this period). Realize that sharp pains I was getting in right foot earlier in the week were due to running solely on the street Mon & Tue (felt some pain after tonite's run which was ~5 miles on the street but nothing near what it felt like on Tue night & Wed).
