Long Run

Fast walked & did drills prior. Cooler vs yesterday but smidge more humid but still very pleasant & nice breeze (temp dropped several degrees during this run). Ran this 30-45 sec faster vs prior runs & even though dew pt was lower it was my stronger bio-mechanical form (feel so much stronger & efficient even at "very easy pace" which is where I was at during mi 2-6). Started fr Whole Foods & ran around Ashley & right on Sharon all the way down & right on Sharon Lane past Providence into Cottswold right on Randolph & left on Hodgson & Hardwick back to Randolph (mi 1-4: felt strong to start but slowed/controlled pace, settled in on an easy pace for mi 2, 3 & 4). Looped back right on Hardwick right on Hodgson right on Randolph & then left on S Colwick (past Krispy Kreme) & then left & left into Cottswold & then zig zagged down the parking lot to increase mileage (mi 5), ran out of parking lot & right on Sharon Lane increasing mileage by darting into and out two of the corp parks & then back on Sharon Lane past Providence (mi 6), at this point I felt great, it was cooler out & so purposely pushed the pace a little by focusing on form (increasing cadence, efficient form) running down Sharon Lane, pushed up the hill at the end, left on Sharon, looping into Walgreens to increase mileage & then out & to Fairview (mi 7-8, felt great until 7.75 mi where I completely lost rhythm & right hamstring began to ache a lot). So did dynamic stretches, & then resumed for the final 1/2 mi back to Whole Foods.
