Easy Run

Ran for 3rd day in a row or first time in 4 wks. Fast walked, did drills prior - right hamstring/HHT felt better. Started out fr Whole Foods & when I started out noticed immediately that right hamstring/HHT felt significantly better vs. Sat -- almost no "tugging" or deep discomforting ache. Also did not feel the fatigue that I felt yesterday. Ran this abt 40 sec p mi faster vs. yesterday which is perplexing? Ran down to mall parking lot & did complete loop (mi 1), ran out on Sharon left on Fairview ducked into lower mall parking lot & then out to corporate park where Zoe's is (mi 2 - this felt the same as mi 1 - felt good), ran behind corp park & then left on Fairview to Park & looped back (mi 3 - could feel it was hot out but this was mostly downhill & not sure why pace lagged), ran up Fairview into a refreshing wind up past Piedmont & then down to Carnegie & left (mi 4 - up & down, began to feel my pace "lag" -- & it did), ran down Carnegie & left on Barclay Downs & into mall & up & then right and over to Piedmont Row (mi 5 - this was "perplexing" since after a very slow mi 4, mi 5 was all uphill & should have been slower vs. mi 4, did feel "stronger") & then up & across & over to BOA where I stopped (at 5.25 mi - shorts soaked, did drills to get rhythm back, noticed that I feel an ache in right hamstring/HHT but not nearly as bad as it was a week ago). Resumed & uphill on Fairview & left on Sharon (mi 6), and then ran final 1/4 mi on Ashley back to Whole Foods. At least I finished strong esp compared to last Mon!
