Fast Interval

Goal: 3x500m (3k to Mile Pace); 3x1/4mi (Mile Pace); 5x300m (Mile Pace or lil faster).

Actual: 3x500m (6:12/6:06/6:03 pace); 3x1/4mi (5:59/5:57/5:57 pace); 5x300m (5:53/5:52/5:52/5:48/5:41).

Recorded the 3x500m & 3x1/4mi separate fr the 5x300m (changed shoes for the latter). Usually I will descend these to a much faster pace, but wanted to be conservative as I seem to get injured soon after when I do that. Took ~200% jog recovery and a extra between each set. Felt good on these, descended and stayed conservative on the 300m set. Compared to a month ago, ran the first two segments at a much faster pace so I can see the progression. Started to feel groin pain when I was in the 5:30 pace p mi range towards the end of #4 & #5 of the 300m's, and felt right ft pain on the last 300m.
