Easy Run
Another bizarrely asymmetrical run where I am literally "plodding" the first two miles & embarrassingly slow in mi 1 (yet it feels like I'm expending a much higher effort) & then finish significantly stronger. Ran this all in Phillips Pl - mi 1 up/around hotel/Palm, then did another 1/2 loop & then up to & down Fairview into entrance & two loops of small parking lot (mi 2), looped around cinema left up Fairview doing two loops of small parking & into cinema lot for 1/2 loop (mi 3), then did 2.5 miles more looping in cinema lot where I was building up speed & felt stronger each loop (mi 3 thru 5.5). Stopped to stretch & then finished out 1.5 loops & ran down to hotel (mi 5.5 - 6).
