Easy Run
Purposely took off yesterday only running 4 days last wk because of how terrible & slow I felt & was on Fri & Sat. Had no idea how this would go & afraid I have another sluggish slow effort. Started fr Orchard St bridge & ran into back neighborhood up & left on Rt 22 (mi 1 - felt a little better vs prior days but this felt like 8:50 pace), left on Rt 22 & then 3 loops of up Rte 22 around back looped back left into train station right on Fisher in CVS lot left up Rte 22 another 100m & then turned around (mi 2-3 - I felt like I was really started to struggle & nothing felt easy, was afraid this was >9 min pace, felt really slow & struggled ea time running up the hill on Rte 22 fr post office to bank), then ran left on Fisher underneath Metro North bridge (& walked thru), ran up Fisher & looped around BRP back on Fisher then right into train station lower lot running 3.5 loops & then up Fisher looped around back on Fisher left on Rt 22 to CVS (final 1.8 mi - I peeked at watch after mi 3 & was floored I had run 8:22 for how slow & sluggish I felt, felt a little better after that running loops in the train station & was consistent in pace). I guess it is a good sign when you feel this bad & your 35 sec/mi faster vs prior day?
