I thought this was going to be the day. I decided to go for it right off the bat and make it happen for once... I got out great in about 9th place through the first mile with Brandon right in front of me. 4:56 and feeling good. I got through two still feeling alright in about 10:15 or so around 5:19 second mile but it was an uphill section. I was still in the top 12 or so. Then as soon as we started to go downhill I got the worst sidestich I have ever had. I couldnt breathe and my stride was cut in half... Basically I just watched everyone ease by me as I slowly creeped my way in. I wound up coming in 21st... and 4th on the team behind Brandon, then Kevin, then Navas then me and Fram... Bad time and I really let one slip away today...but there was physically nothing I could do... If you can breathe you cant run plain and simple... I will be back... Team was Third Behind CMS and RUN. Luckily even if I had run the 50 seconds faster that I could have run, we would not have gained any positions team wise...
