Woke up still sick... at 5:45 am... went downstairs ate some cereal and then went to the man cave and tied up 5 olive bead head leaches. Then went out and ran as soon as I looked out the window and could see some light. Felt sick. Went to the MM and got there by 8:15... fished the upper water and caught one on one of my leaches withing the first half hour in the tree hole. Dead drift. Nice 19 " LL Salmon on the 7 wt with 4 X. Fished all over for the next 4 hours with no hits. No one seemed to be hooking up. Then i finished off in the fast water and fished with a white marabou streamer that I tied a few days ago with an orange collar and first cast behind the tree big swirl on it. thought I was seeing things. So I put it back and and BAM! nice big leaping LL. measured 17" but fat fat. Wish I had a friend to take pics! WOuld have been great.
