4 x 8' @ Threshold (90"), 4 x 400m (2')

Solid workout this morning. Quinn and I met up with Ryan and William at the Gatlinburg high school track. Ran the threshold reps on a flat-ish section of road. By flat-ish, I mean less hilly than everywhere else in the surrounding area. The 1st and 3rd reps were slightly down hill, while 2 and 4 were net uphill. Set the pace for the group for most of these. We went out pretty relaxed on the first one and nicely built into it. Pressed the second one pretty hard since everyone said we wouldn't make it back to the start going back uphill. 3rd was a burner, we got into a nice rhythm and just cruised. Rep 4 we were all pretty beat. Hung tough and finished pretty well.

Kept the 400s pretty relaxed. Went out right behind QT on each of them then picked it up from 150-300m. Shut it down the last hundred to stay even. Felt pretty good on these, especially after the threshold work right before. Quality workout!
