Notes
Decent long run this morning. Decided that after feeling good and healthy yesterday that it was time to get back into the swing of things and go long like a normal Sunday. Tried and failed to find company for this one, so ended up going solo. Waited until a bit later in the morning and got myself out the door. Ran the first chunk through my 10-mile loop in Chestnut Corners and then split off once I was on 22 and went to the high school. Extended out into an Echo loop, and then cut back towards home. I was pretty exhausted towards the end of this, not sure if it was due to a lack of running this week, or not eating anything all day. Glad to be done by the end, I was pretty gassed.
Rolled and stretched afterwards. Left hip is feeling v tight, though quad felt goooood. Hamstrings were also cramping a bit while stretching post run.
A bit disappointed in the training effort this week, though this is mostly due to the slight quad pull I developed towards the end of last week. Hoping that is behind me, and I can work to build some momentum going forward.
