Notes

Medium long early in the AM before work. It was very dark for the first 40' of the run. Sun started to rise on the way back to the hotel. Ran about 2 miles from my hotel to a trailhead for the Coalton Trail. Pretty much just a dirt road that ran in between two fields of cattle. Footing was a bit rocky and uneven, which was tough to navigate in the dark. Way out was uphill and into the wind, so I was struggling pretty hard. Almost turned around at 3 miles, but made it up the biggest hill and from there on it wasn't so bad. Going up the hill, I was sucking for oxygen, but there was none to be had. The way back towards the hotel there was a gorgeous sunrise over the the city. Came back significantly faster too with the wind and downhill. Got back and added on a bit around my hotel to get to 11. Started at 5200ft and was up to about 6000ft by the time I turned around. Wish I had more time to keep heading out along the trail.

Front of my left knee has been a bit tight since the plane, need to stretch + roll after work. Achilles have been good though.
