2k at Threshold (1'), 4x800 at 3k Pace

Had no real expectations going into this workout. I had zero idea where my fitness is currently. Decided to run this with the top 5k group, but started each interval at the rear. Threshold felt good, if even a little slow for threshold. First 800 went out slow, especially for what the top group should be running for 3k Pace. Ended up being probably what my pace should have been for the whole workout. After that, the group settled in nicely. The second rep felt great. Started to feel fatigued on the third rep, and fell off a bit over the last 200. The group cruised on the last one, which left me alone in no mans land. Ran 500 smooth before dying in. Legs were v tight by the end, but no pain so I'll take that as a win. Just need some more work to get back into respectable shape.

People really need to have their own watches.
