6-12x400 at Mile Pace w/ 2' Recovery

Really strong workout this evening! Ran the whole thing alone since Greg had a faster assigned mile pace. Started the first one out conservatively and felt really smooth. From there, I really focused on staying relaxed for the whole interval, and simulating how the pace would feel during the race. Steve gave me the green light to do all 12, but even towards the end, I felt like I could have done a few more. Also, wanted to see how much I could get after it on the last one. Went out hard but relaxed and pushed the second half. Hit 60 even, so I know that some finishing speed is there. I'm getting pretty psyched to race again! Hamstring/hip also felt completely regular which is another huge plus! Overall, very encouraging day. Mobility after. Rolled, stretched and push up back at home.
