Met up with Crief while he's home for Memorial Day weekend. We decided to run the yellow trail over at Deer Grove, which in hindsight was a mistake with all the rain lately. We ended up having a very muddy run through the woods. Got to the point where I stopped trying to avoid the mud/puddles because they were inevitable. Really nice to catch up with Ryan, it had been a hot minute. Hoping he'll be back in Chicago a few more times this summer. Supposed to be longer today, but with the several bad runs I had this week, opted to finish a bit short and call it early today. On to a better week!
