Notes

Tried a short 3 mile run today. Left achilles area was tight from the start, but really wasn't a problem. About 10' in, my right achilles/lower calf started to hurt like it had the last time I had run. There was a constant dull pain, where it would occasionally be more of a stabbing pain. Afterwards, the area was quite tender and my whole calf remained sore all day. As I'm logging now (Mon 6/6) the pain all day pain has subsided, and I only notice it when I put stress on it (do a calf raise). Not really sure what my plan of action is here. Going to continue to take time off, definitely this week and perhaps next week as well. I've been looking into going to Athletico to try some physical therapy or at least try and to try and get this properly diagnosed, but we'll see. I think my work has a pretty solid gym available, so hopefully I'll be able to find a stationary bike to ride or something in the meantime.
