Birthday workout, ended up going pretty well. There was a stiff wind coming from the south, which made intervals 1 and 3 really hard, and reps 2 and 4 considerably easier. The group started off pretty big, but I set a brisk pace from the start. Shared wind duties with Ryan for the first half of rep 1. Sped up a bit once we turned the corner onto Windsor. The second interval was almost completely with the wind. Just cruised along, had to focus on not going too fast. The 3rd rep was by far the hardest, with more than 5 of the 7 minutes straight into the wind. Tried to stay relaxed and not force the effort. Ended up finding a good groove and kept that one pretty even. The 4th interval was a strange mix between being really tired while still consciously keeping the pace from getting out of control. Solid workout overall.
