First workout of track season. Picked up Cobert and drove over to the high school. Warmed up with Justin and Chief. Started off the first one, and we were rolling. The rep was mostly with the wind and down hill, but still, the pace was probably a bit aggressive for that rep. Reigned it in on the second one, though the hilly terrain, slushy road, and stiff wind in our face helped out as well. Finally found a good pace on the 3rd rep, that one felt by far the smoothest. The last rep was trash though. The road and sidewalk we were running on was completely untouched. The sloppy conditions made that one slow. Overall felt pretty okay. Looking forward to next week to get another solid, more consistent effort in.
