Easy out through the Marsh. First run in a minute after taking some time to try and get my heel/achilles right. Run itself was pretty decent. Felt super awkward for most of the way, but kind of settled in towards the end. Legs were tight, especially my left side, which makes some sense with all the attention I've been paying to my R calf/foot lately. Felt like I'd definitely lost a bit aerobically, but definitely not like I was starting at square one. Feel like fitness would come back pretty quickly if the heel will cooperate.

Achilles itself felt pretty decent during the actual run.There was the faintest feeling of tightness there, but never felt like a hinderance or a problem, which was good. Definitely felt it a bit afterwards, however. Poking at the area had a noticeable hotspot, which suggests I'm not totally healed. Will keep an eye on how it bounces back tomorrow and Wed and may try a few more runs to see the impact. Also, want to try running on a flat treadmill to see the effect. Definitely felt the most strain on the area during up/downhills. A bit more rest/rehab might be the best option here though. Indy half not looking so good at the moment :/
