4 x 2k at Threshold (1'), 6-8 x 400 Fast (90")

Went out today and didn't really know what to expect. With just threshold pace making up the meat of the workout, our group (Auburn, Brad, Frintner, Choi and I) settled in a little quicker than we had run our thresholds previously. Felt nice and smooth. Half way through the third one, I was feeling great, better than I had since the race at Augie. Let that momentum push me through the 4th one. Finished these aerobically straining a bit but feeling completely fine in my legs. Started the 400s with the group. We weren't really sure where the second cone was, so the first one was pretty slow. From there, Auburn and I decided we'd do 90 second recovery off of these. Felt really good and tried to stay smooth through the entire 400m. By 5-6 intervals, the recovery was starting to feel really short and my legs were hit pretty hard. Bombed 7, couldn't get moving. Took an extra 30 sec and finished the workout strong. Very pleased with the work put in today.
