Notes
Woke up a bit hungover, but knew I would be feeling worse tomorrow morning after the wedding, so I was resolved to get LR out of the way today. Bobby came with and told me he was good for 10 miles. It rained hard for nearly every second of this run. Ran up north through Columbus on the bike path along the river. It was a really great place to run with some solid views of the city and river. On the way out I managed to convince Bobby that he'd be fine and he could do the whole run with me. Made it to OSU around 7 miles. Took a loop around campus. Then came back south on High St. all the way back to Bobby's apartment (~3 miles through downtown Columbus). Surprisingly, it wasn't too terrible running down such a major city street. Bobby hit a big wall at almost exactly 10 miles. We started crawling at this point and we made a few stops for him to catch his breath. Ran the last 2 alone out to Schiller Park and back. At this point, it had rained so much that the streets in the neighborhood were totally flooded. One corner I ran around had water up to my knees. Felt good and strong the whole way, which is a nice change up from how LRs have gone recently.
